Rediscovering the Heart of Corporate Worship

Sunday after Sunday, we come together as a church family to worship – but have we ever stopped to ask why? Why does God call His people to gather? If we were to take a poll, we’d likely hear a variety of reasons. Yet at the heart of our gathering lies a divine purpose far deeper than habit or tradition.
In this sermon series, we invite you to rediscover the significance of corporate worship. We will begin by exploring what it means for the church to be a dwelling place of God’s presence. From there, each message will unfold one of five key ways God shapes us through our worship together:
- Habitation – Becoming the dwelling place of God’s presence
- Reorientation – Turning our hearts and minds back to God
- Community – Deepening our life together as the body of Christ
- Formation – Growing in Christlikeness through shared rhythms
- Restoration – Finding healing and renewal for our weary souls
- Mission – Enlarging our hearts for the world God loves
