Full-time Finance & Accounting Staff (AMKMC TRAC)

We are looking for an account executive/accountant to join our team to replace a long serving staff. He/she will be responsible for the accounting, finance and treasury related matters for our church.

With hands-on experience in keeping the full set of accounts, the account executive/accountant will be given the opportunities to work with the Church’s executive and finance committees and to provide oversight, support and execute activities and initiatives related to church finances.

Job Scope & Responsibilities

  • Keep and prepare the full set of accounts, including posting entries, closing books, processing payment vouchers and preparing reconciliations;
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, annual financial statements and other reporting;
  • Liaise with auditor to coordinate annual and other audits;
  • Manage the Church’s treasury matters, including deposits;
  • Develop relationship with various ministries and be the contact person for finance- related matters
  • Support and champion changes for stronger analytics, efficiency and values

Qualifications

  • Degree / Diploma in Finance and/or Accountancy or equivalent experience
  • Experience in church and charity finance or accounting role is beneficial

Pastoral Team Member (AMKMC TRAC)

Job Scope & Responsibilities

  • To be a member of the Pastoral Team that supports the ministries of the Church, including the following generic duties
    1. Hospitals, wakes and pastoral visitations
    2. Teaching and equipping
    3. Administration and organisation of events and ministries
  • The specific job scope and responsibilities will be dependent on the gifts and passions of individual and assigned areas of ministry

Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Degree in Theology/ Divinity or background from TCA College/ Singapore Bible College/ Trinity Theological College
