The TRAC Board of Missions (BOMS) is organising a TRAC Missions Vocation Silent Retreat on 5 & 6 March 2027 to facilitate a hearing-God journey for those contemplating a missions vocation on a mid-term or long-term basis. Missions vocations include overseas, local, or bi-vocational missionaries, Business as Mission practitioners, missions organisation staff, and church missions staff.
Dates: Fri 5 March 2027 (8am) – Sat 6 March 2027 (4pm)
Venue: Montfort Retreat Centre, Bukit Timah. Stay-in (Mandatory)
Spiritual Director: Rev Shannon Chan, Pastor of Faith Methodist Church and member of TRAC Board of Missions. Assisted by Ms Judy Foo, Asst. Country Leader, YWAM Singapore.
Registration fee: Subsidised rate of $50 (meals & lodging included) to be collected upon acceptance of the registration by BOMS.
Maximum 15 participants. Couples may sign up as individuals (will be assigned separate rooms)
Eligibility: Members or regular worshipers of any TRAC Church may register. They need to provide the email of a church pastor or missions staff member who can endorse their retreat registration. The retreat is intended to engage participants across all life stages—young and old, mid-career professionals, and adults in transition—who aspire to pursue more meaningful kingdom work.
Spiritual Companionship: During and after the retreat, participants discerning a missions vocation will be connected with experienced missionaries, mission organisations, or church missions leaders for one‑to‑one spiritual companionship. These sessions will help participants affirm God’s call and thoughtfully consider the key aspects of their missions vocation pathway.
