The Alpha Marriage Preparation Course, brought to you by the Family Life Ministry, is designed to help couples build a strong and lasting foundation. Rooted in biblical principles, the course provides a safe and intentional space for you and your partner to explore key aspects of your relationship, and to have meaningful, honest conversations about the life you are building together.
If you are planning for one of our pastors to officiate your wedding, completion of this course is required.
Course details
Venue: King David Conference Room (Level 4), Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church
Dates: 3, 10, 17 and 24 October 2026
Time: 2.00pm to 6.00pm
Course fee
- $95 per couple (where at least one party is a regular AMKMC attendee for at least 6 months)
- $140 per couple (otherwise)
The fee includes participant manuals and a personality traits report. Payment details will be shared after registration.
What the course covers
Across four sessions, you will explore five key areas: Communication, Conflict, Commitment, Connection and Adventure. The sessions are based on the Alpha Marriage Preparation Course developed by Nicky and Sila Lee of Holy Trinity Brompton, London.
The course concludes with a special personality session, ‘The Flag Page’, on 24 October – designed to help you better understand each other’s strengths and differences.
