Ever been asked to help out with worship in your cell group or some other small group meetings in church and felt stressed and lost about what to do? Ever wondered about why we have worship in our small group meetings in the first place? Ever thought about how you can make worship in your small group more impactful and meaningful than just merely singing a song?
Contemporary Service’s School of Worship (CS SOW) and FORT Youth Ministry are bringing to you a course on ‘Worship in the Small Group’ designed to help you better understand the why we have worship in the small group and how to best facilitate worship. Participants can choose one of the following tracks:
Track 1: Worship Leading in the small group
For this track, participants will gain a basic understanding of worship leading in a small group, including practical tips.
Track 2: Introduction to playing guitar
For this track, participants will gain a basic understanding of guitar playing, including learning basic techniques. Participants will need to bring a guitar.
Track 3: Introduction to playing cajon
For this track, participants will gain a basic appreciation of playing the cajon, including hands-on practice. Participants do not need their own cajon but can bring their own cajon if they wish.
